About Steven Bennett

Steven Bennett is passionate about helping individuals thrive financially. As a Certified Financial Planner, he understands that not everyone understands the complexities of investments, debt management, and financial planning, but he aims to help people get excited about their wealth and financial management.
After graduating from George Mason University with a B.S. in Economics and Finance, Steven’s financial career started with Wells Fargo. He served as a Senior Planning Officer at Wells Fargo for over 10 years, before becoming a budget analyst.
His experiences range from traditional financial planning to complex consulting services including estate management, financial budgets and projections, bench marking, internal controls assessment, and financial training for top management levels.
Steven has served as an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University, teaching financial accounting to undergraduate students.
He is a qualified CFA and SMSF specialist, with a Diploma in Financial Services. Steven also serves on the Financial Advisory Council at George Washington University’s School of Finance.
Outside of work, Steven lives in Washington D.C. with his wife, Amy Bennett, and son, Gabriel. When he is not helping others financially flourish, Steven enjoys golfing and teaching his son advanced mathematics. He also has an interest in photography, reading, and world history.
